The Kula Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to visit and enjoy while on Maui. The garden was established in 1968 by Warren and Helen McCord and it continues today to be an entirely family owned and operated business. It’s located on the slopes of Haleakala and covers 8 acres of colorful and unique plants, amazing rock formations, a covered bridge, waterfalls, koi pond, aviary and new attractions including the carved tiki exhibit…and more! There are literally hundreds of varieties of plants to enjoy and photograph (plants are labeled with their botanical name, common name, and country of origin). Address: 638 Kekaulike Avenue, Kula, Maui. Open daily from 9am-4pm. Phone: (808)878-1715.
Have a great day everyone – Aloha!
