Happy Aloha Friday! Ho’okipa is on the north shore of Maui, east of the town of Paia near Mile Marker 9 on the Hana Highway (Route 36). Famous for its windsurfing, Ho’okipa Beach is also well known for honu (turtle) watching. Around 3 to 5 PM (most afternoons), turtles often come ashore on this beach near the vertical rock wall at the east end of the beach!
