It's Aloha Friday! The Kapalua Coastal Trail is a 1.76 mile walk that begins just a couple of minutes drive away from Napili Point Resort! The boardwalk parallels the beautiful cove of Oneloa "Ironwoods" Bay and Beach. The island of Molokai is magnificently framed on the horizon along the entire trail. The view is often said to be "the image of tropical bliss!" At one point the boardwalk gives way to gravel, which forks either to the left, where a narrow trail weaves along the rocky coastline toward Namalu Bay, or straight, where a short path heads to Hawea Point, the most westerly point on the island (a great place to sit, watch, and listen to the humpback whales this time of year). Yes, we said listen - the whales come so close to the point that you can hear them breath! Enjoy the weekend - ALOHA!
Aloha kakahiaka – “ah-loh-hah kah-kah-hee-ah-kah” (good morning).
